Eng. Saleh Alkhalifa

Throughout his career, Saleh has held progressive leadership positions managing drilling operations, engineering teams, and field services for major national and international oil and gas companies, including extensive roles with the National Drilling Company and Shell-related operations. His responsibilities have covered drilling engineering leadership, field service team management, tubular and rotating equipment oversight, and consultancy for international drilling projects.

He has completed a wide range of advanced technical courses in drilling, completions, cementing, directional and horizontal drilling, hydraulic fracturing, stimulation, well control, and surface facilities, building a comprehensive competence profile across the full well life cycle. Saleh also holds multiple certifications and recognitions, including IWCF Drilling Supervisor certificates, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 lead auditor training, HSE and offshore safety courses, and several innovation and corporate achievement awards.

Saleh has contributed to task force workshops on drill string management, long-life well cycles, well delivery optimization, and drilling mud strategy, and he has authored key operational manuals such as BOP testing procedures, wireline operation procedures, directional drilling services procedures, and drill string operating manuals. He has led or participated in numerous audits and pre-qualification programs for service providers and manufacturers across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the USA, ensuring technical quality, safety, and compliance with international standards in drilling services and equipment.
